Well this week Craigslist left me rather underwhelmed... maybe it's to cold to get rid of things now. I have high hopes for the spring cleaners though! I did find these few pieces which are cool! Some of which need some new fabric desperately- but good bones!

 A few fun things while searching through the ol' Craigslit Ads! 

That headboard I can see painted white and being a gorgeous backdrop to some lovely bedding! 

The cained chair, side chair, desk chair or in a reading nook with a pillow, perfect.

This 7' long orange table, LOVE it!! An awesome dining table with amble room for guests- or the perfect beer pong table. ;)

This hutch kills me, its missing a knob, but who cares, some lemon oil and its sure to be a show stopper in any room.

This tiny kilim clad foot stool, really pop this in any room for some world traveled flare!

This pink/red mid century sofa might need a boost on the seat cushion, but its lovely.

Craigslist Cool | Madison area

A lot of cool retro pieces on on Craigslist right now! I love the rolling carts, they are great as plant stands or a drink cart! The set of old school chairs are lovely, leave them as is or paint them!

Ok, this 10 foot table is bad ass, if I had a big enough room that would be mine!!

The retro 90's white bar stools spoke to me today! They look in amazing shape and I can see them as an interesting addition to a rustic style kitchen... crazy I know, but the juxtaposition can work beautifully when done right! 

Need I say anything about this fab green chair?!  The lucite tray table is super mod and glamorous! Add a cool tray and turn it into a night stand, end table, plant stand or drink cart! The last set of chairs are simple and sleek, I can see them with a toss pillow as extra seating in a living room OR the two head chairs at a modern dining room table.

Its been a while since I have been on Craigslist. I found a few cool things! I keep looking for rugs and leather sofas... no luck today! But the trick is to look daily, I gotta' get back into the habit!

 A ton of cool Craigslist  finds this week! 

-Starting with the vintage mod sofa, a new fabric on those cleans lines and low profile, perfection!

-Honestly the chrome chair needs nothing, I see it as a show stopping desk chair!

-The pair of club chairs have a great comfy shape, they need a new fabric and a toss pillow, but the shape and size is perfect!

-Total awesomeness full brass bed frame, a perfect girlie 'my first bed' option, I see it with fun pink bedding!

-I kind of have a thing for rattan, why, who knows, all my vacations to Florida?! This set looks in need of some TLC, Id opt for painting the frames a bold color and reupholstering the cushions. Great for a sun room, even in WI!

- These stone top end tables also have a matching coffee table in the listing. I would paint the black legs white or gray making the stone feel more of a transitional style as apposed to the 90' modern vibe.

-This lamp is rad.. need I say more!?

-This pair of velvet covered chairs has such a cool shape! I love the ultra high backs, I would update the fabric, but keep the velvet finish.. it just works!

- Mid century dresser, it is in great shape from the photos in the listing, no work needed here!

 Found some cool stuff on the ol' Craigslist! Check these out!

(1) game table chairs 
leave um' or give them some fun new upholstery  fabric. These chairs are very universal, add a pillow use them in the family room, try the head of the dining table, or a rolly desk chair. 

(2) nested console tables
These tables have a great shape and a fun little cut-out shape in the corner. I think a coat of paint could do the trick!

(3) yellow school chairs
A fun pop of color for a play room!
 
(4) love seat
A perfect place to curl up with a cup of coffee. The fabric on these mid century sofa is fun and bright. But if it's not your style these box cushion a a sinch to recover. 

(5) pair of upholstered chairs 
This pair of chairs are amazing... enough said. 

(6) gold and glass coffee table & set
A great over sized table totally from the 90's table is a set, coffee table, end tables and sofa table. I think all three of these in one room might be over kill. But split them up, coffee table in the living room, end tables in the bedroom for some glam, and the sofa table could be great in an entry with a mirror hung above it!

(1) aluminum table- a great little side table!
(2) curved sofa- this sofa has a great shape, a new fabric maybe needed, try a fun color!
(3) hanging chair- a fun bohemian accent to any room! 
(4) dresser/ armoire- a great shape and tons of storage! I can see this with a cool coat of paint and keep that mid century hardware!
(5) bench- a sweet little bench, great size, needs a new cushion, but the wood is lovely!! 
(6) corner table- I love the idea of a huge corner table, it's screaming for a statement lamp!

(1) wing backs 
Recover these in some fabulous rich fabric, the shape and tufting is gorgeous, not to mention they are built ultra sturdy so they will be a good investment!

 (2) ikea chairs 
 A perfect desk chair or makeup chair, leave it as is or give it a coat of bright paint!

(3) coffee table 
Fantastic texture and natural color! A great addition to any room that needs something to talk about!

(4) dining set 
I love the simple lines of this set, a classic and transitional table set that will match most decor! Wanna get fancy, recover the seats and paint the chairs a bold color!

(5) queen bed
A lovely and girlie bed that any teen would kill for in her bedroom! Perfect as is!

(6) brass magazine racks 
These are fabulous, I love brass and gold, need I say more.. and a steal at $10! 

(7) dining set 
I am in love with these chairs!!! I would buy the set just for them, a new seat fabric and some steel wool on the metal legs, lovely. 

(8) desk
A vintage 1950's modern desk, its small and chic perfect for a small house or apartment. Id give it a high gloss pop of color and clean up the original hardware. Now add your laptop and your set!

Some more sweeet shit on Craigs list Madison! I could honestly spend hours on there. Hey on a serious note though, take someone with you if you are picking things up, lots of sketchy people out there! Use the buddy system!

One of my favorite designers Emily Henderson has a column on her blog called 'trolling Craigslist', well its something I already do, and thrifting is one of my favorite things! If I could purchase every cool thing I find on Craigslist I would need a 5,000 + square foot mansion. So instead I thought I'd follow in Emily's footsteps and share it on the blog!
