I love this trend, I hope it stays around longer then a few seasons. The rich color, texture and shine of velvet really scream richness, luxury and history! Every time I see velvet I think of royalty, kings and queens. For spring the soft pinks, blues and golden tones are perfect, mixing the jewel tones with them is on point.
